Mr. Mom "Woobie" Blanket Free Tutorial by Melissa of Crafting With Cat Hair Blog

Here's what Melissa had to say about her tutorial:  One of my favorite movies from the '80s is Mr. Mom. I just love Michael Keaton!

There are so many hilarious scenes in this movie, but the one that stands out to me is the scene when the vacuum cleaner attacks the kids and eats the one kid's blanket, or his woobie.

I am sure you have seen this pattern before, but here it is again. You can use this super simple, no sew pattern to make your very own woobie for your child or, like I did, your pet!

Easy Pet Bed

Here's what SewDelish had to say about their tutorial:  This is a perfect little bed for a new puppy or kitten and also for little toy dogs who love a little bit of comfort.  This quick and easy pet bed is made using an old pillow that has been cleaned. A new one of course be used, but I wanted to use a pillow that was still ok but had gone too flat for my liking.Pillows get replaced reasonably regularly in our house, so this is a good way to make good use of them once we don't sleep on them anymore.  These were made for my little chihuahua who is 12 years old and would sleep on my own pillow all day if given the opportunity!

Crafty Project - Grain Sack Kitchen Towels - DIY Free Tutorial From Karen Watson of The Graphics Fairy Blog

My sister-in-law would just love this idea from Karen Watson.  She has a wonderful tutorial on her The Graphics Fairy blog showing you how to make grain sack kitchen towels or placemats.  Maybe I might make them for my sister-in-law as a gift.

Here's what Karen had to say about her craft project tutorial:  This weeks project was inspired by antique European grain sacks! These are so all the rage right now, but quite pricey for the real deal, I thought it would be fun to create a project that simulated the motif, and then use it on some kitchen towels. I also made some matching placemats as well.
